United States Patent # US9261302

Product: In-Line Internal Plumbing Line Sanitizer for Appliances Apparatus

Introducing the first patented in-line sanitizer device for your refrigerator, enabling you to compliment your water filtration to achieve the cleanest  and best tasting water from your refrigerator.

What is it? and how does it work?

Westmount's in-line sanitizer is a new, US patented device, containing a sanitizing agent, that is temporarily connected onto your refrigerator water line in order to sanitize the water lines that go into your refrigerator. The process takes about 10-15 minutes, to fully flush and clean out the plumbing lines that run throughout your fridge: the ones you can't see or reach. Once it has done its job, it is removed and you may proceed to install your regular filter and enjoy your water as usual.

Why and when would I use it?

Our microbiological lab tests prove that it doesn't take long for microbes and bacteria grow in the best of water lines and plumbing lines so we suggest you sanitize your refrigerator water line before every filter change, or every 6 months or so, if using a long-term filter. Also, we recommend sanitizing after a BOIL WATER advisory, in case you've unwittingly used your refrigerator water dispenser during the advisory time-frame.

Where can I buy it?

We're excitedly working on that and will keep you posted. Stay in touch, or join the email list and we'll let you know as soon as it becomes available for purchase.
