Colors was a challenge I took on when I wondered how many colors I could name in a song without making it sound cheesy. I didn't expect to actually like it, since it was originally just a writing exercise. The result is a very peaceful visualization of the beauty that surrounds us always. I guess I should exercise more often...
Blue skies with white clouds
grey rooftops glistening
silvery raindrops
so softly are falling
brown cat-tails leaning
green treetops swaying
red-breasted robins
blue ocean waves waving
color me with the colors
of the world
gorgeous pink roses
in warm golden sunlight
blackness of night kissed
by buttery starlight
fields of wild flowers
of purple and saffron
sepia sunsets
a honey horizon
